The Inspiration Garden

The following flowers are dedicated to those with ovarian cancer who have been an inspiration in our lives.

Tell me if you would like a flower placed here for someone and the type of flower you would like.

for EMMY

If you're looking for dignity and courage under adversity, Emmy was your gal. May you be at peace on the swirls of the wind and continue to guide us with your heart.

For ELLEN

She taught everyone around her to have grace and dignity in the face of challenge. She was a true inspiration.

For SUSAN

A buddy when I needed one, and a superhero to so many more.

God bless you for the joy you brang to so many

POEMS

Kay Kerbyson
Cancer does as cancer will,
But it cannot rob our hearts.
With love and friends and doctors,
The storm clouds will part.

If ovarian cancer is your lot,
Its a hard pill to swallow.
But remember that every day is a new day,
And as precious as any other.

So fill you life with love and joy,
Look at your children,
Often with tears in your eye.
Because that is the blessing we all share,
We are mindful of life,
And the beauty it bares.
Anon
Tomorrow storm clouds may gather,
Tomorrow tear drops may fall.
But mine is today's mellow sunshine
And the crickets' unceasing call.
Mine are the flowering meadows,
The woods robed in crimson and green,
The golden fields ripe for harvest,
With homesteads nestled between.
Today I walk in the sunshine,
My world seems in pefect array,
Oh, let me embrace to the fullest The joys that are mine today.
Anon
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day
Well, I'm sure you'll have so many more so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
And we always get a second chance to make everything right.
There will always be another day to say our, "I love you's",
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But just in case I might be wrong and today is all we get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold a loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it instead today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss,
And you were too busy to grant someone what turned out to be their last one wish.

So always hold them dear, my friend.
Take time to say I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, or it's OK
Today and not tomorrow.
Because if that tomorrow never comes...you'll have no regrets today.
